she’s started rolling her eyes & acting embarrassed by us. she even told her dad not to be ‘weird’ on a recent play date. she wants to wear her hair down to look like a second grader (she’s just finishing kindergarten) & she is all about hannah & the jo bros. she says ’sweeeet’ when she gets excited (oh so valley girl) and she talks with her hands. she wants to pick out her own clothes & is so ‘done’ with bows. when at dinner with friends, she wants to sit at another table. she whispers in her friends ears while riding in the back seat because apparently we are not good enough to hear & have even used the word ‘bored’ a few times (which we have since banned). our sweet baby has been replaced with a door slamming, foot stomping, pouting, pre teen & i am very afraid
