our low key, low cost fathers day celebration was delayed due to delayed flights on sunday so last night we had a simple dinner of roasted chicken, grilled asparagus, & a greek salad. we started the party with a orange rum punch made with fresh oranges, lemons, bitters, & rum. we toasted & roasted s while we presented him with our gifts of love. our final choices came down to a coffee table sized book entitled bond girls are forever because we are both a little obsessed with bond girls. its a beautiful picture book filled with the bios of all the leading ladies in 007 stories by decade. the girls gave him these gorgeous hand made shot gun shell cufflinks as he fancies himself a very good shot (& he really is). we finished the night with a few glasses of wine on the deck together. it was kinda perfect
