pretty pieces

i’ve been in fence sitting mode. i found two fabrics that i love for my formal room. both a linen. one is a brown stripe. its subtle, elegant, and will look great with my mossy walls. the other is a large scaled ikat pattern in bright green and raspberry. a family pole says i should go for the bold fabric but my instincts tell me to play it safely. but i want it to be a young house that is a tad daring. i need to decide. my vintage sofa needs to be reupholstered & i want to get my living room together. any thoughts from anyone? i am so over sitting on the fence. the spikes are starting to hurt
