We had a wonderful trip to CA. Like life altering good time. And somewhere between San Fran and San Diego, I have decided to no longer blog. I will still Facebook. I will start a Tumblr (which will be really really fun, details to follow) but I will not be blogging for a while. My life is happy. Full. Busy. Grand. Between Swoon and my design business and my beautiful babies- I have little downtime. And I told myself that when this blog started to become a burden, I would stop writing it. And it has become a burden. Only in my mind. But still. At one point, I wanted to make it bigger and more business directed. But it’s really always been just about me, my family, my thoughts. So in this period of time in my life where I am so enjoying all my moments, all my life- I bid you adieu. thank you for sharing time with me. thank you for all your sweet comments. and thank you for your love.

i’m annoying the hell out of my girlies this morning by screaming ” SPRING BREAK 2011 BABY” everytimy they open their mouths to say anything. it’s obvious i’m a little excited for our trip tomorrow. just a little bit. san franscisco, Big Sur, Carmel, LA, and San Diego. let’s go california! wahoo!

i’m finally feeling better and am starting prepare for our spring break trip. i am so excited to see my friends (some whom i haven’t seen since middle school). but today is shopping day! yep, i’m off to shop til i drop and hopefully score some sweet deals. hey, a girls gotta look good for her trip, doesn’t she? xoxo jade

i am really ready for spring. we are suffering from all sorts of ridiculous sickness over here. we’ve had everything from the stomach bug to ear infections to bronchitis. we are so over the cold, the flu, the weather. i want to picnic, play outside, be healthy, lay in the sun. march is going to be fabulous: we’ve got our O’Connors On Tour: Spring Break 2011 trip planned to California and are finishing the details of our month abroad. I feel like March is going to be the start of many great things.

me. looking really not awake yet. on sunday morning. it’s been a long weekend. a good one but a long one. somehow i’ve lost all the balance i’ve been working towards this week. the diet has gone out the window. the no wine. psht. i’ve enjoyed a glass or three. and i’ve been working way to much. but that’s the way it is. when it rains, it pours. of all my projects right now, my favorite is the pool and pool house i’m building for my favorite clients. it’s going to be super swank. right now it’s bedtime though and wine time and sit in front of the fire time. i’m tuning out and turning off. yeah, i realize it’s only 7:00 but mama is wiped out. so until tomorrow friends. xoxo

my sunshine. i love how you wake up happy and skip around all day happy. you have such light in you. such sweet light. i love how kind you are and i love how caring you can be. like when i was sick, you made me a tray of tea and tangerines and lit a candle (with daddy’s help). that was so kind. i love your hippie ways and the fact that you want your hair to be so long. i like that you refuse to cut it. i love you in your jeans and sparkling shoes. i love your style. you’ve got great style. you look so good in your gypsy skirts flowing. you rock at coloring. everyone says you are a “real” artist. i agreed. you are so good with colors and drawing. and i love how no one can figure out which hand you write with- will you always be able to write and color with both hands? it’s beautiful to watch you draw. it’s a gift. i think about your sense of humor and how you already know at 5 how to deliver the punch line. you are really funny and it’s my favorite thing about you. grow strong ryan. and remain light. always smile. always
